About The Creator

Anna in the UintahsAnna Roberts studied modern dance for 14 years with the Brigham Young University Young Dance Makers Company. This experience inspired her to invest time throughout her life in learning various disciplines of movement such as Yoga, Tai Chi, and Pilates. At age 25, she still dedicates several hours a week in improving her physical abilities.

As a young adult, Anna developed insomnia. Frustrated by her inability to sleep, Anna was motivated to develop a stretch and meditation routine to relax her body, and calm her mind. Through this method Anna was able to conquer her insomnia and fall asleep quickly each night.

After learning of the millions of people who struggle with sleep, Anna decided to publicize her sleep routine in an effort to help others frustrated by not being able to rest. Realizing the sleep routine may not be the only answer for the many insomnia problems people face, she researched other ways of overcoming sleeping troubles and included them in her production.

A senior at the University of Utah, Anna plans to graduate in May 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. As a Service Learning Scholar, she has volunteered over 600 hours to community projects. Anna currently teaches sleep clinics at the YWCA, and Cancer Wellness House.
