Improving sleep hygeine is the most cost effective method of improving sleep efficiency. Relaxation and stretching, as instructed on Successful Sleep Strategies, are certainly a large component of sleep hygeine.

Dear Anna,
I have had a wonderful time with your sleep video. In fact it has changed my whole sleeping pattern, and life. Since 1997 I have struggled with several medical problems and have been in and out of hospitals. This led to terrible sleep patterns. I would often lie awake, frustrated until 4am or later. When I started using your video it changed my life so I thought I would write and tell you about it. I didn’t think it would help but it has improved every aspect of my health including physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.
After watching the video three times I was able to grasp what you were saying about sleeping and I adjusted the moves to my abilities and limitations. Every time I did the sleep routine, my abilities improved along with my sleep. I was soon able to fall asleep at 10pm when I wanted to. I realized that I was having a natural deep sleep and I was fully relaxed. You cannot realize how this helped me. I was suddenly able to do things again like exercise and work. I felt like my life was coming back to me.
Now that I was finally rested I was able to do things I had always been too tired to do in the past. Being rested brought clarity to my mind. I was able to be productive again because of the rest I was receiving. My body started healing more rapidly, I realized that my blood tests were better; my red and white cells were perfect. My blood pressure was 126/71, and my potassium level was perfect for the first time since 1997, most importantly my blood platelets went from 66,000 to 140,000, which is close to normal. My doctor visits went from bi monthly to every three months.
I know without proper sleep none of this would have happened. What a small word “sleep” is to have such an impact on my life. I have always needed 8-9 hours of sleep. After becoming ill, I wasn’t able to fall asleep. The constant interruptions in the hospital would keep me awake until morning. This sleeping trouble continued until I used your video.
The greatest benefit is the change of attitude I went through by using your video. I had been down for so long that it became a way of life. It also became laziness. I didn’t realize I could do more. I had tunnel vision of illness after all the medical situations and kept thinking illness and didn’t realize that I had to change my thinking and the habits I was in.
Thank you for your training, your energy, your enthusiasm, your encouragement, and for your sleep video. It has certainly changed my life. Sometimes someone only needs a direction to start to change and for me that was you. You helped me realize I could change my thinking and be alive.
